About Me

I am a board-certified clinical child and adolescent psychologist licensed in Georgia. I specialize in helping children, teens, young adults, and families overcome anxiety, OCD-spectrum disorders, and behavioral challenges using evidence-based treatment.
My primary approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), one of the most effective and well-researched treatments for anxiety and related conditions. I provide both individual and group therapy and work closely with caregivers to help children develop the skills they need to feel more confident, flexible, and in control of their lives.
My therapy style is warm, practical, and honest. I believe therapy should be collaborative, engaging, and even enjoyable at times. I use humor and authenticity while also being straightforward about the patterns that may be keeping you or your child stuck—and the steps that can help create real change.
I am deeply committed to providing the highest quality care. I regularly review new research, attend professional trainings, and continue learning so that my patients benefit from the most effective and up-to-date treatments available.
I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University, completed my predoctoral internship at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and my postdoctoral fellowship at Augusta University/Medical College of Georgia. You can view highlights of my training and experience in my CV below.
Beyond therapy, I enjoy sharing mental health education through my blog and social media, where I provide accessible information about mental health conditions and therapy.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my dog, Mr. Darcy.
